  001.   I have a zero (0) tolerance for anything remotely racist, homophobic, transphobic, or any other republican/right wing beliefs. I am of the belief that all humans are valid and have the right to live as they wish. If you disagree: there is the door. Fuck off and keep doing so till you find the edge of the world thanks.  002.   I am a person with a real life first and foremost. That is always going to be my priority. I will always give the same respect to those I RP/write with. This is why I am happy to both do in game as well as Discord.  003.   I am happy to write a wide range of topics from the darker ones (criminal, horror, edlritch, etc) to more mundane slice-of-life type RP. That being said I respect others preferences as well and am always open to discuss things before scenes are written or connections mads.

  004.   What I am currently looking for: Eidus is an old being but brand new to the world. He is looking for connections and help. He has pieces of reality in him that he only barely understands. Eidus is also incredibly suspicious and paranoid at the moment. He covers this with charm and seeming ease but its all a mask. While I love writing romance and connections any such thing will be done over time and will not be a quick swept under the rug OOC conversation.  005.   What I am NOT looking for: Eidus is not here to be fixed by someone else in a single miraculous moment. He is not here to be someone elses achievment. He is his own full character and has his own story. That aside I do write most types of RP but I prefer them to make sense with the characters given.  006.   Boundaries I have limits to what I am willing to RP with. While I acknowledge lore bending has to happen for creative decisions to flourish in the FFXIV world I do not RP with any of the following:
- WoL/those claiming to be such.
- MSQ NPCs played by a player.
- Crossover characters from other franchises regardless of the presence of the in the events in game.
- Those who do not respect the IC =/= OOC barrier that exists with characters

  007.   To be clear I RP ONLY WITH THOSE 21+ NO EXCEPTIONS. I am well over 21 myself and have no interest in RPing with those younger then 21.  008.   Eidus currently works for the Red Lantern and serves there. While I am always glad to meet and talk to others while working I retain the right to ignore attempts to tell stories while busy working. I prefer to focus on my FC and my position when working.

Memories fade like ashes on the bitter winds of time.Eidus story is one of pieces and strands. Born some time ago and then orphaned he was taken it by a pirate of some renown. Over the years Eidus was raised and lived life amongst the seas calling Limsa Lominsa his home. However much of this is lost as well as what other activities the man had gotten up to during this time.In the last year Eidus had made a voyage to Meracydia. There something happened that is not recorded or rememberd by the man himself. Whatever it was left him waking deep in the forest of Gridania with hardly any memory. Stipped of aether, of color, of his life, and left with only a few pieces of clothes and a partial journal Eidus is now wandering trying to find out what happened to him.And ultimately whether he brought it upon his own self and if he even deserves to otherwise be free of it.

  1. Notes about canon. Eidus character and story play a lot within the blank spots in lore. While I do try and always default to the lore as written by the team of Square Enix, I also know there are many gaps they have not touched. As such Eidus is a lore bend character.

  2. Eidus story touches on many subjects that do not directly appear in the game (or if so are lightly touched and otherwise ignored) such as: eldritch horror, multi-verse (beyond Shards), etc.

  3. I am always open to talk about what pieces of lore Eidus bends around and otherwise stretches I am not here to be criticized or critiqued based on others view of lore, lore bending, and whether its ok or not. If you do not like it: do not write with me. Simple as.

  1. Hooks Eidus has many memories around aetherology and thaumaturgy. He is seeking to put the pieces together and to find those who might be able to help him understand the strange nature of his current existence.

  2. Pieces of a criminal past keeping popping up around Eidus. Some say he was a smuggler, others a pirate, and even more say he was bound up in terrible magics. Maybe you know of these things? Maybe you knew him before.

  3. Eidus is experiencing the world in many ways for the first time again. Though slow to trust due to his trauma he is at least willing to go forth and learn more of the strange world around him. Maybe you have an idea for a new bit of the world for Eidus to explore?
